Working as part of a client-focused team that is dedicated to using best practices while working with Indigenous people.

Responding to requests for research and evaluation, developing culturally acceptable and safe techniques and assessment frameworks, and writing comprehensive proposals.

Managing and performing fieldwork, including research and evaluation tools creation, qualitative research (including interstate travel), briefing and assisting bilingual and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander research partners.

Performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis, offering strategic insights, and creating written reports and oral presentations

Collaborating on all elements of project management and new business development.

Work experience in law, negotiations, social policy, social research, and/or program assessment for a minimum of ten years.

Experience with effective project planning and management, as well as the ability to work cooperatively in a team and handle many projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize research data into high-quality reports for a variety of stakeholders, including the government. It would be advantageous if you have prior experience with quantitative research methodologies.

Ability to build and maintain good connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, communities, and government.

Direct experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as well as a strong interest in culturally diverse cultures.
